Dr. Kerr Veterinary Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Services (VRDIS) performs ultrasound exams and radiographic interpretation by a board certified veterinary radiologist on-site for NOVA Pets Health Center. These exams are done at NOVA Pets Health Center so that the pet does not have to travel to be examined, thus reducing time spent traveling and improving care. It allows monitoring by hospital personnel during the exam so that treatment can be continuous.

Ultrasound exams of the abdomen, thorax, heart, thyroid glands, eyes, joints and muscles can be performed with ultrasound. Dr. Kerr is a board certified veterinary radiologist and has been performing US examines since 1984. He graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1983 and completed his radiology residency at TUSVM in 1987. In 1988 he moved to Virginia with his wife, Terry Aldred, DVM, also a graduate of TUSVM, and started VRDIS.
VRDIS uses state of the art ultrasound equipment and can perform top level ultrasound exams. We also work with Dr. Masood by reading the radiographic studies to add important interpretive information contained in the radiographs to the patients record.
