Boarding
Policy 2010
1. Check-in and Pick-up:
Monday through Friday between 8 am and 5p.m. and Saturday
between 8 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Sunday pick up
4-4:30 PM
2. Boarding rates are
charged per night. The check-in day always counts as 1
night. If pets are picked up before 12 p.m., you will
not be charged for that night.
3. BOARDING DURING HOLIDAYS
REQUIRES A $50.00 DEPOSIT, which is applied to your boarding
charges. Reservations must be canceled seven days before
the reservation date for a full refund.
4. Animals presented for
boarding must be current with all required vaccines and
be on a monthly flea and tick control program. Fecal worm
checks to check for intestinal parasites are required
every three months for animals that board. Fecal samples
may be brought in for testing on the first day of boarding.
If last exam by our veterinarian was over six months ago,
an exam is necessary and a fee may be charged.

5. Vaccines required for dogs
are as follows: Rabies, Distemper, Leptospirosis, Influinza
and Bordetella. Cats require Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella.
Ferrets require Rabies and Distemper.
6. Birds presented for boarding
must have proof of a negative Psittacosis test.
7. Exams for first time patients
may be done at a pre-scheduled appointment when they are brought
in for boarding. It is preferred that owners schedule an appointment
in advance of the boarding so that our doctor can meet you and
your pet in a more relaxed environment.
8. Save 10% when boarding in
same Runs.
Note: Nova Pets Health Center reserves the right to
refuse same Run boarding if inappropriate or to separate animals
when necessary.
9. Animals must be treated
for any obvious signs of discomfort prior to boarding. Nova
Pets Health Center may refuse boarding services if animal is
in pain and owner is not willing to follow veterinary recommendations.
